Expo Marathon

Expo Marathon  is the place where you can get your race kit and catch up with the latest news in lifestyle, sport, health and nutrition with up to 100 national and international exhibitors.

Please note: Race numbers which are not picked-up during the Expo Marathon-opening hours will expire without refund. There will be NO other possibility to pick them up!

We are looking forward to welcoming more than 15,000 participants and visitors at the Expo Marathon.
The entrance is free for all visitors!

Pasta Party

November 2th - 12 am to 4 pm

On November 2th, at the Expo Marathon, the Porto Marathon team will organize a pasta meal specially cooked for athletes.

This rich in carbohydrates meal will give you the extra "fuel" needed for the marathon day!

Price on site for all participants - 6 €

Price for public on site - 9 €

How to get to the departure by public transport/STCP

Terminal changes in Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia

Until 16h00:
- Lines 200 [Bolhão-Cast. Queijo] and 203 [Marquês-Cast. Queijo] - Terminate at Praça de Liège (stop LIEG1);
- Line 202 [Aliados-Passeio Alegre (via Av. Bessa)] - Ends at Rua de Gondarém (CRTO4 stop);
- Line 205 [Campanhã-Cast. Queijo] - Termination at Lidador (HMGL5 stop);
- Lines 207 [Campanhã-Mercado da Foz] and 504 [Boavista-NorteShopping] - do not go to Fluvial, they pass directly from Rua Diogo Botelho to Rua do Campo Alegre and vice versa;
- Lines 208 [Aliados-Aldoar] - terminate at Aldoar, in R. Martim Moniz (stop ALD1);
- Line 501 [Aliados-Matosinhos (Praia)] - Terminates at Aldoar, R. Prof. Melo Adrião (stop PFMA1);
- Line 502 [Bolhão-Matosinhos (Mercado)] - Terminates at Av. Da Boavista stop (ABVT1 stop). Starts at Liceu Garcia Orta stop;

- Line 403 [Boavista (Casa da Música)-Campanhã] - Partial cancellation of service, passing when conditions permit;
- Line 500 [Praça Liberdade-Matosinhos (Mercado)] - Suppressed;
- Line 900 [Cordoaria-Santo Ovídio] - Partial cancellation, running when conditions permit.

In the early hours of 3 November:
- Line 1M [Aliados-Matosinhos (Praia)] - Terminates at Castelo do Queijo (stop CQ5).

Terminal changes in Matosinhos

Until 12h00:
- Line 505 [Hospital S. João-Matosinhos (Mercado)] - Termination at Pr. Guilhermina Suggia (MATI stop);
- Lines 506 [Hospital S. João-Matosinhos (Mercado)] and 507 [Cordoaria-MarShopping] - Terminate at Parque de Real (PREA1 stop).

Historic Electric Car Service

- On 3 November, until 2pm, lines 1 [Infante-Passeio Alegre] and 18 [Clérigos-Passeio Alegre] will be suspended. As soon as normal circulation conditions are restored, both lines will resume normal service. (notice posted at stops)

ENGRAVING MEDALS

How to purchase:

- At the time of registration on the website; *
- At the place of delivery of the race numbers; *
- At the end of the event in the Todotrofeo stand (10€)
* (take profit from €7 only on the site or at the place of delivery of the race numbers)

On the day of the event, after crossing the finish line and receive the medal, you should proceed to the Todotrofeo stand, show your race number and your name and race time will be engraved on the medal.

Pacemakers

For runers who aim for a given time, Porto Marathon is offering you the chance to stick with the pace of an experienced runner. These pacemakers will run with an easily visible baloon/flag attached to them and they will run the marathon to their defined finish time. 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15, 4:30 and 4:45.

Wardrobe

Porto Marathon will prepare a big and comfortable space, near the finish line, where Marathon and Family Race athletes can leave their luggage.
All luggage must be identified with the race number.
The organization will not store lose item’s, all the participants belongings must be inside a bag.

Changing tents will be available in the finish scene.
